Mt. Salkantay MTB Expedition

5 days

There are MTB trails, and then there’s Salkantay, a singletrack unparalled by any other. This is an expedition designed for the experienced and intrepid rider who doesn’t need the comforts of the bike park or the amenities of luxury hotels. This ride is raw. And that’s how it should be! If the prospect of riding an utterly remote trail and dusting trekkers along the way excites you, this is the ride for you!

Descend from the base of Mt. Salkantay to the lush tropical jungle, where you’ll find yourself a short hike from one of the 7 Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu.

And if the descent from Salkantay wasn’t enough, we’ll heap on another serving of Downhill with two runs down the world famous Inca Avalanche Race Course! Could it be more perfect!?

Highlights:

  • Experience Peruvian MTB trails with Peru’s best team of guides
  • Ride the Salkantay Trail, one of Nat. Geo.’s Top 10 Best Trails On the Planet
  • Start a MTB descent at 4,630 m (15,180 ft.)
