Ausangate Glacier & Rainbow Mountain Bike Trip

8 days
difficulty

This is possibly the most incredible mountain bike tour in South America.

The Ausangate Glacier (6380 meters) is located 4 hours south of Cusco.

We will cross on bikes 3 high mountain passes, some of them reaching over 5,000 meters (16500 ft.) On our journey, we will camp near turquoise lagoons, rivers of high mountains and spectacular valleys, always accompanied by the view of the imposing Ausangate Glacier.

The bike tour around Ausangate Mountain is more than just a trail. It is the best of the Andes by mountain bike. The views of breathtaking beauty, the flora and fauna, the local communities that we will find along the way and the experience of being living an authentic bicycle adventure will make this trip remain forever in your memory.

It is important to reiterate that the weather is unpredictable, the camping is in the high mountains, the food is basic and it is common to have to push the bike up the mountain, of course always we will have some mules that will carry the equipment and food.
