The Cordillera Blanca is Peru’s new mountain biking frontier. Outside of a handful of local riders who take advantage of local trails, most of the area’s trails go unridden and are begging for some rubber! This is definitely a place that has the potential to become Peru’s top riding destination and a true priviledge to ride for visitors. We'll embark on an 11-day mountain bike road trip from Peru's capital Lima to the Cordillera Blanca, Peru's most impressive glacial mountain range and home to some of the tallest mountains in the Andes. Our goal is to enjoy some of the wildest riding that South America has to offer and to take in the hands-down best scenery in all of the Andes!
The trails that riders will experience over the course of this adventure can only be described as rugged. While there are flowy elements to these trails, there are just as many technical ones. This is a trip for the calculating rider who loves to scout lines and get techy through seriously rowdy rock gardens!
This is going to be epic! Don't miss out on this truely unique mountain bike adventure.
Arrive to Lima’s Jorge Chavez International Airport and leave the rest of the logistics to us. In the evening we’ll have time to build our bikes (or inspect our rentals) and greet the other riders who make up our road trip family. We'll be lodged in the Barranco neighborhood of Lima, a vibrant and bustling area of Lima with tons of world-class bars and restaurants.
