Bosque Santa Maria


It starts at 3870 meters above sea level and descends to 3400 meters, 5 km of burning descent, 
This route is located in the mountain called "Picol" 1 hour from Cusco city. It is characterized for being a technical downhill with lots of loose vertical curves and cracks, through eucalyptus forests. It's a very popular route for local riders with experience to practice skills in curves of all types!

Altitude starting point (Montaña Picol) 3870 m.a.s.l.
Altitude point of arrival (Santa Maria) 3413 m.a.s.l.
Elevation gain in descent 457 m

 

Travel time to the starting point is 1:30 hours by car and 2 hours cycling from Cusco's Main Square.
